Hotel Waldmühle is located in Elend in the Harz mountain. Our hotel is 9 miles from Brocken, 18 miles from Hamburger Wappen, and less than an hour from Hexentanzplatz Thale.

18 rooms and suites with forest views guarantee a pleasant stay. We offer complimentary breakfast and free parking to make your stay even more enjoyable. All of our non-smoking guest rooms feature free Wi-Fi, LCD TV with cable channels, and working desk. Facilities include a restaurant and an event hall.

If you enjoy the outdoors or simply want to see the many different attractions, you’ll find plenty to do around the area during your stay. As our guest, you’ll get to enjoy complimentary breakfast in the morning to kick off your day of activities. You can hop on the historic narrow gauge steam train for a scenic ride to Brocken, take a chairlift from the Hexenritt up to the Wurmberg to ski/snowboard, or take a short drive to Wernigerode and explore Schloss Wernigerode and do some shopping. Plus there are many hiking & biking trails around the hotel that you can explore.

When you’re not out enjoying the outdoor activities, get a cup of coffee with a slice of delicious cake and enjoy the forest view from the outdoor seating area. Don’t forget to take pictures and share them with us.

☺Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Unterkunft gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend.

empfehlenswert ☺das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut angerichtet, große Auswahl, das Restaurant bietet lecker zubereitete Speisen an, unsere Zimmer waren geräumig und gut eingerichtet, das Bad ist groß (sehr gut) alles sehr sauber. das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. ☹mir war das große Doppelbett etwas zu weich aber das ist sicherlich Geschmackssache
